Started today by around the house. And here is summary:
  • Seen a pair of Fantail, as always in low light. No good shot :(
  • Seen a pair of Bronzed Drongo, got clean shot this time.
  • Seen Liniated Barbet, got sharp shot though white background. Missed green background just for a second :(
  • Seen a tiny bird, don't know the ID. Failed to take shot :(
  • Seen a pair of Spotted Dove and Common Myna, Tailorbird, Baya Weaver, Kingfisher, Bulbul and Black Drongo. No shot taken.

Hope, tomorrow will be much better :D

It was a dull day! Went to an old place and got nothing! Seen some common birds, that's all.

Here is the summary:
  • Seen Baya Weaver, taken some shots. Just I needed to shoot something.
  • Seen Plain Prinia, no chance to shoot.
  • Seen Water Hen
  • Seen Little Heron flying
  • Seen Black Drongo, taken some clean shots.
Tour finished, back to home :(

After lunch went to the roof, to see if anything I can shoot:
  • Seen many tailorbird, got some shots.
  • Seen Common Iora.
  • Seen Baya Weaver.
At 5:20 seen a Fantail! Again no light :(

Lets try higher ISO today, so I've bumped into 2000, then 2500, 3200 and finally 4000!

Fantail giving good time but no clear pose. So, I've tried fake calling. This is my first time with fake calling, I've no expertise on this.

After trying a lot, Fantail replied by a single call! And made a flight very close to me then sitting on a branch which was too close. Got few shots without full body!

I'm really surprised!

Now got some clear shots, but there should be lots of noise. Most clear shots are taken with 2500 ISO, that's a lot to me. Usually I use 200-400 ISO.

Display does not show much noise but I know it's lying.

Will try tomorrow again :D

Nothing uncommon today, same as last 2 days.

Here is the summary:
  • Taken few shots of Purple Sunbird.
  • Few shots of Common Iora.
  • Got a nice Black Kite's takeoff shot.
  • Taken some clean shots of Bronzed Drongo.
  • Got some super clean shot of Fantail!

Again Fantail came to my area after 5PM, I was ready with real calling record. Downloaded from net :)

It works great!
After playing the record few times, Fantail came to an open space where I was standing with camera :D

Tomorrow I'll visit a different place to see something new... :)

Dohar trip was canceled for some reason. Stayed at house and walked around.

Happy to see a new bird, Green-billed Malkoha! First time watched this bird and got full body shot, low light though :)

And taken some common birds shot like last few days.

No plan for tomorrow yet :)

Not much update today, seen some common birds.

Given extra time for Tailorbird, got some shots.

Today is our fifth marriage anniversary, years are passing so fast :(

Will visit a different area tomorrow and then back to Dhaka In Sha Allah :)
